Programming Preview – 3/3/19

Here is this weeks programming preview. As usual we have a little bit for everybody. Some strength, conditioning, gymnastics and weightlifting.  We still have 3 more weeks of the CrossFit Open so Friday is a mystery and the weekend WOD will be determined by what we do for 19.3.

Monday
This week starts off with an interval style workout. Every 4 minutes for 20 minutes you will have the task of completing some double unders, DB snatch and medicine ball cleans.  In addition if you need to do or want to take another stab at 19.2, find a buddy to judge you and get after it during class.

Tuesday
Today is a strength day, cant go wrong for building raw strength with some back squats and deadlifts. Throw in a challenging rep scheme and you’ve got a perfect combo for a CrossFit workout.

Wednesday
This mid-week workout will dial things back a bit as far a loading goes but it will be a longer style workout. Sticking with some strict movements we will have strict handstand pushups, push press, rowing and air squats. This will be a good combo for getting both some strength and conditioning in but not be too beat up for Friday Night Lights.

Thursday
Again this week we will do some general cardio mixed in with some light midline to avoid being too beat up for 19.3. Come in and push hard on this one for a great workout or simply use this time to get an active recovery to flush out some soreness.

Friday
We are 2 for 2 with high energy at FNL! Lets do it again this week while we get each other through another challenging Open workout. 19.3 may or may not be in your wheelhouse but come in and put your best effort forward and you will feel a surge of accomplishment.

Saturday and  Sunday Funday!
Stay tuned for what our weekend WODs will look like. Saturday will as usual be our partner WOD and Sunday our endurance style WOD.
