Programming Preview – 2/3/19

The CrossFit Open 2019 starts in 3 weeks! We’ve got a few warmer days coming this week so no excuses for not getting into the box. Get in, push hard and be ready for 19.1!

Here is this weeks programming preview!

Monday
This one will be a great way to recover from all the wings and beer from the Super Bowl! Nothing better than a 20 minute amrap to burn some calories!

Tuesday
This workout is short and sweet! A couplet of heavy deadlifts and push press will seem to last forever for such a short time domain. Be ready to move fast and break some mental barriers on this one.

Wednesday
Weight lifting Wednesday! We will start today with front squats in sets of 10. Once are legs are nice and wobbly we will finish class with 30 muscle ups for time. 

Thursday
This interval style WOD will push you to work on your barbell cycling. 3 rounds of clean and jerks and double unders followed by plenty of rest for that second and third round.

Friday
Week 4 of the Open repeats brings us a fan favorite. This one is easily recognized by the number 55! You’ll have 13 minutes to get through your deadlifts, wall balls, calories on the rower and handstand push ups.

Saturday
We will be partnering up for the hero wod “Havana”.

Sunday 
Endurance WOD will be a simple combo of rowing and box jumps to challenge your conditioning.
