Programming Preview – 11/11/18

Monday
In spirit of the last day of the Wodapalooza online qualifiers here is a variation of one of the workouts a few of us worked on last week. This workout introduces a new movement to most of you called the Devils Press. You can google what it looks like or you can be surprised in class when we review the technique.

Tuesday
Tuesdays aren’t just for tacos, they are for heavy single rep squat snatches too! This is a weightlifting session focused on the most complex movement we do in CrossFit. Come in ready to be challenged whether you are working on a new 1 rep max or want to work on perfecting your technique.

Wednesday
This AMRAP will have your body screaming for oxygen. Twelve whole minutes of burpees, moderate weight back squat and some kettlebell carries.

Thursdays
We were supposed to hit this workout last week but being the nice guy that i am, i switched things up. Last week was shoulder intensive so i pushed this one ahead to this week. Bench press, strict pull-ups, and strict dips for a challenging EMOM of strength work.

Friday
We tackled some snatch work early in the week so why not finish the week with the other complex lift that we do, clean and jerk! Spend the class working up to a heavy 1 rep max or come in and get dialed in on your technique.

Saturday
Since we will be stuffing our faces at Friendsgiving later in the evening we will start the day with a hearty 25 minute partner AMRAP. Then later you wont feel as guilty grabbing seconds and even thirds.

Sunday
The endurance WOD will be light and long. Expect to see a combination of rowing and biking. If the weather is nice enough you may even see some running in there. Not too many days left to get outside so you better believe we are going to take advantage of those days!.
