Programming Preview – 11/26/17

Part of the CrossFit definition of fitness includes a list of 10 general physical skills. The programming we put ourselves through each week is designed to challenge all of these areas:

  1. Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance
  2. Stamina
  3. Strength
  4. Flexibility
  5. Power
  6. Speed
  7. Coordination
  8. Agility
  9. Balance
  10. Accuracy

Our focus this week is general conditioning as well as an increased volume of gymnastics. Bring your lungs and all 10 physical skills this week because we are going to challenge you!!!

Monday through Thursday will involve some interval training, a triplet, a pair of couplets and a push pull combo. These workouts will focus on general conditioning, gymnastics and some light barbell cycling. The CrossFit Open will be here before you know it and we need to be prepared! 

Friday’s focus is on a high energy lifting session! Come prepared to lift heavy as we are testing our 1 rep max Clean and Jerk! We tested this on October 27th but it’s never too soon to hit it again – Start visualizing your PR’s now!
