This Weeks Preview – 9/8/19

Back Easts first Intramural CrossFit Open has begun! One day in and its already been interesting to say the least. Keep your eye out for updates on what happens next. Also, make sure to mark your calendars for all the upcoming events related to the Open. You can find them on a post on our member page.

Schedule changes

No changes to the schedule this week for once! School is back in session so make sure to get your butts into the gym and get back on track with your health goals. If you’re looking for more accountability in what you do come talk to us about personal training and nutrition counseling.

Programming

Monday: We are starting the week off with some push press for strength. Following a build up to a 3 rep push press we will work through a nice combo of rowing, plank holds and lighter push press.

Tuesday: Double unders, heavy deadlifts and rope climbs are the main focus for today. This 4 rounder will challenge every part of you so come in ready to work

Wednesday: Today we honor a hearo with the workout “Daniel”.

Thursday: This one is definitely not a recovery workout. Three AMRAPs in one involving double dumbbell ground to overhead, up-downs and push ups.

Friday: We are closing out the week with a clean complex followed by a metcon with an interesting combo of heavy lifting, toes to bar and a static hold.

Saturday Partner WOD: We’re keeping partner WOD a surprise this week, stay tuned!

Sunday Endurance WOD: To finish up the weekend we have a descending ladder of calories on the bike and abmat situps.
