Programming Preview – 5/5/19

Hope y’all are all recovered from your Cinco De Mayo celebrations because we’re getting straight to the point this week, here is the programming preview.

Monday

We are starting the week off with our murph prep workout for the week. Three rounds of all the murph style activities.

Tuesday

Weekday number 2 brings us a variation of a benchmark WOD called “Annie”. This version is descending and ascending in reps of double unders and abmat sit ups.

Wednesday

This amrap is a fun combination for moderate barbell movements and gymnastics. 12 minutes of hang squat cleans, Burpees, SDHP and box jumps.

Thursday

We have a longer style EMOM for today with a challenging rep scheme for rowing, toes to bar and dumbbell thrusters.

Friday

Today is our final rep scheme for tempo back squat work. You’ll have 5 sets to build up to a heavy double.

Saturday

Today’s partner WOD will be in teams of 3. It’s a chipper style wod with rowing, Burpees, DB snatch and HSPU. Grab two buddies and get into the box!

Sunday

Endurance WOD today will be a fun one for Mother’s Day.

Pull up/ Push up work (kipping is allowed for these this week)

Day 1:

Push ups: max reps in 30 sec, rest 30 sec until you reach 70 reps

Pull ups: max reps in 30 sec, rest 30 sec until you reach 35 reps

Day 2:

35 push ups

18 pull ups

25 push ups

12 pull ups

15 push ups

8 pull ups

Day 3:

For time:

80 Push ups

40 Pull ups
