Programming Preview – 11/4/18

If you haven’t scheduled a time to meet with Mac or Myself for a 30 min chat about your goals please do so! Its a great way to stay on track and keep your focus!

Monday
Start the week off with a nice hearty chippah! Wall balls, pull ups and kettlebell swings are a perfect way to kick start the week.

Tuesday
This is a fast moving barbell based WOD. If you plan your attack well enough you can make this wod a barbell complex. Deadlifts, back squat and shoulder to overhead will test your endurance with the bar.  We will spend the last part of class practicing our double unders.

Wednesday
Keep the benchmarks coming right?!?! This mid week WOD is worth coming in for.

“The Chief”

Max rounds in 3 minutes of:
135 pound Power cleans, 3 reps
6 Push-ups
9 Squats

Rest 1 minute. Repeat for a total of 5 cycles.

Thursday
We have a 20 minute EMOM with some bro style movements. Bench press, strict pull-ups, strict dips and some rowing just for fun. Today is a good day to slow things down a bit and work on your upper body strength.  If you want to get better at push-ups, pull-ups, dips, muscle ups, toes to bar, burpees and handstand push-ups you have to get strict.

Friday
Come in to close the week with some toes to bar and overhead squat in the WOD. Also, we will spend the end of class working on handstand push ups and rope climbs.

Saturday and Sunday we will be closed! We have about 30 Back Easters headed up to the Spartan race at Fenway park on Saturday so we will be closed for the day. Sunday we will need some recovery so again we will be closed.
