Getting married wouldn’t stop us from posting our programming preview. Check out what’s happening for the week!
Monday chest day! Class will start with a quick AMRAP to warm up the body and get a sweat going then we get swol with some heavy sets of 3 reps of bench press. Make sure to increase each set to a new 3 rep max today!
Tuesday we have 2 WODs that look a lot like 2 classic CrossFit girl wods. They are essentially the same WODs but with a twist. I won’t let all the secrets out but the weights will be the same as normally prescribed and the total reps won’t change.
Wednesday is a chipper similar to one we hit a few weeks ago but with higher reps. Rowing, box jumps, burpees and sit-ups.
Thursday is a strength day for overhead squats. We will spend class working up to a heavy 5 rep max. Challenge that overhead position for a new 5 rep max. Working the overhead squat is a must to improve your receiving position in the snatch.
Friday we have a nice 3 rounder with running, toes to bar and some dumbbell snatch.
Saturday is a double duty day! Two WODs back to back to share with your bestie. Squat cleans, dips, push jerks and rope climbs, wahoo!
Sunday we change it up our endurance style WOD a bit by adding a 3 person team workout. A follow the leader style workout that will be fast moving with small reps but long in total duration.
