Programming Preview 6/17/18

We’re going to ease into this week like an old man into a nice warm bath as George Castanza would put it. A nice combo of Russian KB Swings, Burpees and double unders should prep the body nicely for the rest of the week.

Its always fun to attempt regional level workouts and why not on a Tuesday.  Day 2 of the week we test ourselves against the best with regional event #6 from this years Regionals. Moderate weight thrusters and rope climbs with a tight time cap (don’t worry, not quiet as tight of a cap as the big guys).

Wednesday weightlifting! Triple clean and jerks and heavy deadlifts. Start your mobility and recovery work early this week to prepare for some heavy weights on Wednesday.

For all of you body weight ninjas Thursday’s workout will be for you. Pull ups, box jumps, dips and pistols.

Friday we have a 4 rounder with power snatch, handstand walking and some other odds and ends. Hope you’ve been practicing getting upside down 🙃

Saturday’s partner workout is another Regional event from this year, except this time we will split the reps and have some fun with a buddy while we tackle event #5.

Sunday’s Endurance workout will be a nice opportunity to get your sweat on with some challenging cardio – or – simply come in for an active recovery workout.
