Programming preview – 3/18/18

Week 5 of the Open came quick.  I think this year’s Open was one of the best Open seasons I’ve  participated in! The workouts were very different from previous years and each week got more interesting than the last. I’m excited for this final weeks challenge and I hope you are too!

Take a look at what this week’s workouts look like as we build up to Friday’s final test of fitness.

Monday we deload a bit with some medicine ball cleans and burpee pull-ups. Class will finish with some midline work paired with ring push ups.

Tuesday is a two part workout starting with 4 rounds of running, thrusters and double unders and ending with a 3 rep max thruster.

Wednesday we will get our weekly dose of weightlifting in. Beginning with light technique work for cleans then some time to build up to a heavy single power clean.

Thursday we will spend time recovering from the week with rowing intervals and ring skill work.

Friday we attack the final Open workout, 18.5!

Saturday for our partner workout we will be repeating a past partner DT.
