Programming Preview 3/4/18

As we enter week 3 of the Open make sure to reflect on your performance. Think about what not only our strengths have been, but most importantly what weaknesses you have faced. This is the perfect time to jot down those things you want to work on for next year. Not only should you write down your goals, but write about how the workouts felt physically, mentally and possibly emotionally.  After the Open we will reflect on these goals and make a plan for the future!  What will drive you to train with more focus?

In the meantime here is what we have in store for this week:

Monday we are giving the option of the class work or to redo 18.2. For class we have a 3 rounder metcon of power cleans, push jerk and double unders and will end the class with some accessory work. If you are planning on redoing 18.2 come in and hit it hard, make it count!

Tuesday is another 3 round workout including wall balls, deadlifts and bar muscle ups. This one has a twist though, as you make your way through each  round, the deadlift weight will increase. If the bar muscle ups are a turn off don’t sweat it – we have plenty of options for you. Class will be wrapped up with some midline work.

Wednesday is a longer EMOM to get our cardio fix. Rowing, toes to bar, running and thrusters will get the heart rate up much more effectively than any boring treadmill routine. Class will end with a series of stretching and midline.

Thursday we will dial it back with some odd object strength work as we get ready for 18.3.

Friday we continue along with 18.3! Come lay it all out with us at Friday Night Lights starting at 4:30!!!

Train hard people! See you at the Box!
